Man arrested on drug trafficking charge

A 20-year-old man is now facing drug charges, including allegedly trafficking, dealing and possession with intent to sell or deliver. The arrest took place at the residence of the man located in Kendall, Miami-Dade County. When Florida individuals face similar drug trafficking charges, they often choose not to fight these allegations alone; instead, they typically choose to consult with an experienced criminal defense attorney.

The Miami-Dade Police Department’s Professional Compliance Bureau executed a search warrant to raid the man’s home in Kendall. Inside the individual’s bedroom, investigators claim they located several baggies that contained marijuana. Police also allegedly discovered several clear bags of a substance that was suspected to be cocaine on the man’s dresser and in a box beneath his bed. Amphetamines and what appeared to be hallucinogenic mushrooms were also discovered in the room, police claim.

The lead detective said that the narcotics weight was around 49 grams. According to officials, police also reported the discovery of a scale as well as a green bong that contained drug residue. In addition, police also impounded over $3,000 in cash.

The accused individual is fully entitled to a criminal defense, which includes the right to representation by an attorney during the future legal proceedings in a Florida criminal court. If a conviction is ultimately secured, drug trafficking charges often come with severe penalties. Nevertheless, as the individual has yet to be convicted of anything, he has every right to contest the accusations as well as the proof on which they are based.
